Former Kawempe South MP, Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa, has cautioned his colleague Frank Malingumu Gashumba about the potential difficulties he may encounter in his marriage to Patience Mutoni Malaika.

Sharing his thoughts on Gashumba’s relationship, Hon. Munyagwa noted that for the union to thrive, Gashumba must adjust certain aspects of his lifestyle to ensure a harmonious and lasting partnership.

He described Gashumba as someone who values cleanliness and independence but pointed out that once a woman takes charge of a home, dynamics inevitably shift, and she assumes control.

Munyagwa remarked that Gashumba’s firm nature and strong opinions could pose challenges in his marriage, emphasizing that while he resists control, relationships often involve a balance of power, with women naturally taking a leading role.

Additionally, he cautioned Gashumba about the importance of returning home on time.

"He will come home late and face consequences—I assure you, he will be punished," Hon. Munyagwa remarked.

He further emphasized that many married men experience similar situations but often find ways to navigate them by allowing their wives to take charge at home.
