Sanyuka TV presenter Hasifa Nabbanja, who is also known as Haffy Powers, recently opened up about her former celebrity crush. Haffy Powers admitted that she once had a deep infatuation with the renowned Jamaican dancehall singer, Konshens. The mother of one revealed that she went as far as stalking him for a period, diligently following all of his digital platforms so that she could keep track of his every move.

However, her feelings took a painful turn when Konshens got married to the love of his life, leaving her with a broken heart and feelings of despondency and regret. She explained that this experience even led her to develop a sense of envy towards Konshens’s wife. With nothing else to do, Haffy eventually had to come to terms with her situation, choosing to accept the painful reality while continuing to enjoy and groove to his music.

Reflecting on her past on social media, she recalled, “I was following Konshens on his digital platforms and had a huge crush on him. When he married his wife, I felt disappointed, dejected, and upset. I even started perceiving his wife as not attractive, and I developed envy towards her, thinking that she wasn’t the right match for him. Eventually, I accepted defeat and had to swallow my pain, admitting that he had been taken. All that remained was my ongoing love for his music.”

In addition, she reminisced about having also had a crush on Big Talent Entertainment boss Eddy Kenzo, highlighting that she was captivated by his looks and would have readily accepted his advances without hesitation.
