Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa has expressed strong confidence in securing the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket for the Nansana Municipality seat ahead of Uganda’s 2026 general elections.
The seasoned media personality, formerly a popular news anchor on NBS TV, is now focused on parliamentary politics and firmly believes that the odds are in his favor.
“I don’t see any setback in my path. I’m ready, steady, and moving forward. Among all those vying for the NUP flag, I’m confident I have a 90% chance of securing it,” Mukasa boldly stated.
He faces competition from notable contenders, including the sitting Member of Parliament Hon. Wakayima Musoke and musician-turned-politician Ibrahim Mayanja, widely known as Big Eye Starboss.
Mukasa attributes his optimism to a solid grassroots network and overwhelming support from the residents of Nansana. He also credits his educational background and media experience as key strengths that position him well to represent the constituency.
“I’m deeply rooted and backed by my people. I believe my academic and professional track record equips me with the competence to effectively represent Nansana and handle national affairs in Parliament,” he added.
