Comedian and media personality Uncle Mark, whose real name is Mark Agaba, has raised serious allegations against the Special Forces Command (SFC) and the presidential convoy, accusing them of playing a role in the torture of his brother and the heartbreaking loss of an unborn child.
In a post on his X account, Mark shared details of the distressing incident, explaining how his brother was detained and reportedly subjected to brutality by security forces while attempting to reach his pregnant wife, who was in urgent need of help.
"My letter to @MODVA_UPDF – SFC. A few months ago, during the president’s (@KagutaMuseveni) convoy’s passage through town, all vehicles and motorists were halted as part of routine security measures.
Among those stopped was my brother, who was in a rush to get home after receiving an urgent call from his pregnant wife—she had slipped in the bathroom and needed immediate assistance.
Mark recounted that after complying with security instructions and parking his motorcycle, his brother decided to continue on foot to find another mode of transport. However, near a police post, he was confronted by SFC officers, who allegedly assaulted him before forcing him into the trunk of a car. He was held for two days before being released with noticeable injuries, including missing toenails.
As of now, his brother is gradually recovering, but the family suffered a devastating loss—the unborn child. His wife is also in the process of healing.
