Moscow is set to send a draft peace memorandum to Kyiv soon, detailing key principles for a possible settlement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced Tuesday.
Speaking at her weekly briefing, Zakharova stated that Russia continues to develop the memorandum, which will define settlement principles, the timeline for a potential peace agreement, and ceasefire conditions.
She added that once finalized, the document will be sent to Kyiv, with Russia expecting Ukraine to prepare its own response.
Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump discussed the matter in a phone call, agreeing that Russia would draft a memorandum outlining the terms of a possible peace deal with Ukraine.
