Sudhir Cautions Public About Fraudulent X Accounts

KAMPALA, Uganda – Business mogul Sudhir Ruparelia has issued a warning about a fraudulent X account impersonating him.

On Wednesday, Ruparelia clarified that he does not own any account on the social media platform. The fake account, @RupareliaSudhi, has been posting misleading content, which he urged the public to disregard and report.

"Any posts from that account are fraudulent and misleading," Ruparelia stated, advising users to exercise caution and flag the account for removal.

Several posts from the impostor account have surfaced in recent weeks.

At 69 years old, Ruparelia remains one of Uganda’s wealthiest individuals, with investments spanning banking, insurance, education, broadcasting, real estate, floriculture, and hospitality. His net worth is estimated at $1.2 billion, according to Forbes.
