Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been crowned the Premier League Player of the Season, marking his second time winning the prestigious award after first claiming it in 2017-18.
The Egyptian forward has been instrumental in Liverpool’s title-winning campaign, netting 28 goals and providing 18 assists as the Reds secured their second Premier League trophy.
At 32, Salah is on track to claim another Golden Boot, leading Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak by five goals ahead of the season’s final matchday.
His tally of 46 goal involvements in a 38-game season is unprecedented, and he has the chance to surpass the all-time record of 47—held by Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole—when Liverpool faces Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Earlier this month, Salah also secured the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year award for the third time, further cementing his status as one of the league’s greatest players.
