Arsenal has announced that forward Marquinhos has completed a permanent move to Brazilian club Cruzeiro. The Premier League side shared the news via their website on Sunday.

The 22-year-old initially joined Mikel Arteta’s squad from São Paulo in June 2022. During his time at Arsenal, he made six appearances across competitions and had loan spells at Fluminense, Norwich City, Nantes, and Cruzeiro.

"Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Marquinhos for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future," the club stated.

Meanwhile, Barcelona has officially terminated the contract of defender Clément Lenglet. The Catalan club confirmed the development in a statement on their website, extending well wishes to Lenglet.

Lenglet joined Barcelona in 2018 from LaLiga side Sevilla, making 160 appearances, scoring seven goals, and providing three assists during his tenure.
